"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations".
Matthew 24:14

Owen and Frances Gordon serve with Jamaica Bible College, which is an interdenominational training institution that seeks to prepare young people to be more rounded citizens who will impact their community and the wider society for Christ. The Gordons feel a strong desire to "give back" to their alma mater, and "their desire is further strengthened because most of our United Brethren pastors have received their preliminary training through this college." Owen is president of the Christian college.

Bill and Karen Salisbury have been reaching children with the Gospel and messages of the Christian life for decades. Their desire is to reach every school in the Bahamas with the Gospel, and they have covered many of the islands already. The Salisburys use Uncle Cousin, Chuckles, Gwendolyn and a myriad of puppets, florescent flannelgraph, and other tools to present their message at children's missionary conferences, camps, Bible schools, and more.

Ron and Jackie Pegram join us from Concord, NC, though their mission work reaches to South Africa, where they are feeding 1,770 orphans of the Masoyi Tribe while providing Bible Club Programs. They do this ministry through Samaritan's Feet, where Ron serves as COO and Jackie assists. Before joining the "Teaching, Touching and Treating" ministry of Samaritan's Feet, Ron and Jackie were extensively involved in ministering to the motor racing community through a NASCAR chaplaincy and Motor Racing Outreach. God has called the Pegrams to missions. They desire to live out "pure religion" as found in James 1:27.

Tom and Vicky have been ministering in Portugal since 1990. During eight of those years Tom was the Academic Dean and professor of the Portuguese Bible Institute (http://www.ibp-esete.org), which has been training Portuguese church leadership for over thirty-five years. He is presently teaching there and at the Baptist Seminary (www.seminario-baptista.org) in the areas of Christian Education, Bible and Bible Study Methods.
Their desire is to prepare both professional and lay church leadership who are able to handle well God's word and make it relevant to believers and pre-Christians through all types of teaching opportunities, both formal and nonformal. Another keen interest is to encourage a vision for marketplace ministry among Portuguese Christians.
To those ends and beyond Tom's ongoing teaching at the two theological training institutions, Tom and Vicky are involved in the following two projects.
· Develop an e-learning platform for theological education in Portuguese. Teófilos (www.teofilos.org) is the name of an e-learning platform by which Portuguese-speaking lay people in Portugal and around the world can receive ministry training. It is in its fourth year of existence and has huge potential to make Bible teaching and ministry training available to many people who otherwise would not have the opportunity to study. At present Teófilos offers two different programs: a one-year Bible certificate and a Sunday school teacher training program. They are hoping to launch some other training programs, particularly one that would train laypeople to plant new churches in their own locale and another to ground new converts in the faith.
· Stimulate qualitative growth in Christian education in local churches through teacher training seminars. Tom receives requests from churches and other educational entities for teacher training. He desires to continue to develop those opportunities in a country that offers very little. He also desires to train Portuguese in writing curriculum for Sunday School and other programs. Presently no Sunday School curriculum is being written in Portugal. Everything that is used is coming from foreign countries.
